Winnipeg, Canada-Assante Corp. said Thursday that it has developed and launched a news, information and services site designed to expand its reach as a developer of corporate financial employee retention programs. The site is part of an overall global branding initiative designed to meld more than nine financial services firms into the single Assante global brand identity, company executives said. The move underscores the power of the Internet as a branding tool in b-to-b.
