B-to-b ad pages up 3.73% in June

New York—B-to-b print ad pages increased 3.73% in June compared with June 2010, according to the Business Information Network figures released by American Business Media. For the first six months of this year, print ad pages were up 1.99% compared with the year-earlier period. Fourteen of the 22 b-to-b categories tracked by BIN showed increases in the first half, led by the transportation and logistics category, which was up 19.29%. The weakest category was electronic engineering, which was down 7.35%. In June, the strongest category was aviation, aerospace and military, up 43.62%. The weakest category was science, research and development, down 14.39%.
