B-to-b ad pages fall 1.38%

New York—B-to-b print advertising pages fell 1.38% last November compared with the year-earlier period, according to Business Information Network data released by American Business Media. Between January and November 2010, ad pages declined 3.21% compared with the year-earlier period.

Among the categories showing the largest gains in advertising pages in November were automotive (15.58%), retail (12.51%) and transportation and logistics (12.51%). The category showing the steepest decline in November was aviation and aerospace, which saw its ad pages fall 19.92%.

Among categories with the largest gains in ad pages from January through November 2010 were automotive (7.85%), agriculture (1.29%) and healthcare (0.79%). In the same period, computing was the category with the largest decline, falling 16.44%.
