B-to-b ad pages, revenues on the rise

New York—B-to-b ad pages increased 3.7% in November 2004 compared with November 2003, according to the Business Information Network report released by American Business Media.

The report said ad revenues rose 7.0% in the same period. Year-to-date spending was up 3.7% and ad pages were up 1.2%.

"Our prediction of 2% to 4% ad revenue growth for 2004 seems to be right on target," said Gordon Hughes, ABM’s president-CEO, in a statement. "In 2005, we are expecting to see 3% to 4% growth once again."

Services, direct response and classified was the lone category that posted a decline in ad pages in November; it was down 4.1%.
