Published on .

Concord, Mass.—RapidBuyr, a b-to-b daily deal site, offered its first national deal Wednesday. The deal is for 50% off MozyPro Online Backup software. (MozyPro is owned by storage giant EMC Corp.) RapidBuyr has also partnered with American City Business Journals to offer local daily deals. The company said it will begin offering these deals, which will appear on the sites of ACBJ publications, such as the Boston Business Journal and Philadelphia Business Journal, in 40 U.S. markets in the near future. ACBJ says its publications reach an online monthly audience of about 8 million unique visitors. RapidBuyr is one of a number of b-to-b daily deal sites launched this year looking to capitalize on the model pioneered by Groupon and Living Social.
