B-to-b print ad pages fall again, but rate of decline slows

New York—B-to-b print ad pages fell 9.40% in February compared with February 2009, according to Business Information Network figures released Tuesday by American Business Media. The rate of decline slowed, as ad pages were down 15.30% in January.

Year-to-date, b-to-b print ad pages were down 11.80% compared with the first two months of last year.

Three of the 22 BIN categories showed growth in the first two months of this year. The miscellaneous category was up 4.84%; electronic engineering was up 2.42%; and aviation, aerospace and military was up 0.41%.
