B2BWorks advances advertising strategy

Published on .

Chicago--B2BWorks, Chicago, has boosted its online business-to-business Internet advertising network through a strategic partnership aimed at beefing up publishers' sites. B2B said Thursday it has signed an agreement with InfoXpress.com, New York, to promote InfoXpress software to its 200 business publishers in exchange for access to InfoXpress' database of 30,000 online vendors. The InfoXpress software enables sites to build comparative buying guides, which are automatically updated when a vendor changes price, availability or other product attributes. Web site publishers use the software to create e-commerce areas underneath their content, where they can collect affiliate royalties for driving sales to a vendor. B2B will likely use the database of online vendors to reach advertisers interested in reaching business audiences.
