B2BWorks announces ad alliance with GE

Published on .

Chicago--In an effort to bring new marketing opportunities to the b-to-b marketplace, B2BWorks Inc., a leading online marketing company, announced it has entered an advertising alliance with GE Services Networks, an operating unit of General Electric Co. The agreement brings the first of the GE Web sites--GE Polymerland, GE Silicones and GE Plastics--into B2BWorks' network, thereby enabling B2BWorks to offer premium advertising inventory on these sites. As part of the deal, B2BWorks has granted equity to the GE Services Network. The alliance is one of the first examples of a traditional brick-and-mortar company forming a business to sell third-party advertising on its corporate portals.
