B2BWorks panel says advertisers look to profile customers online

Chicago--The B2BWorks Media Advisory Panel said Monday that advertisers are looking to profile their b-to-b customers more on the Internet, and called for campaigns that drive customers into buying applications. The group, which meets quarterly, counts among its members some of the top thinkers in b-to-b advertising, including executives from Lot 21, Doremus Advertising, Carat Freeman, Bader Rutter & Associates Inc., General Electric Co., Beyond Interactive and Grainger Inc. B2BWorks also said wireless advertising will succeed if accurate targeting methods are available with the technology.
