Chicago--B2BWorks Inc., a b-to-b marketing services company, has entered a Pan-Asian online advertising pact with Hong Kong-based AdSociety Ltd., a broadband and wireless advertising, marketing and sales network. AdSociety, which is majority-owned by Hong Kong-based Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd., will be granted access to B2BWorks' network, which receives 17 million unique business visitors per month. B2BWorks, meanwhile, will gain access to AdSociety's Pan-Asia network of advertisers. "Asia presents huge trade opportunities for U.S. businesses, and many online advertising opportunities have not yet realized," said Bill Furlong, president-CEO of B2BWorks, in a statement. B2BWorks is pursuing an aggressive international strategy, while some of its competitors are scaling back non-U.S. efforts. Last month, the company announced it would expand its services internationally, beginning with the development of a European network.
