Charlotte, N.C.--Bank of America, the nation's second-largest bank, will begin marketing its Visa commercial and corporate credit cards to U.S. multinational and local corporations in countries including the U.K., Canada, Brazil and France. Bank of America business credit card services such as accounting and payment processing will be provided locally, while account management services will be handled out of U.S. locations. Bank of America's move sets the stage for a showdown with Citigroup, New York, which holds a dominant position among U.S.-based banks in the global corporate card space.
