‘Barron’s’ acquires the Winner’s Circle Organization

New York—Dow Jones & Co.’s Barron’s announced Wednesday that it has acquired the Winner’s Circle Organization, a consulting firm based in Boca Raton, Fla.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Winner’s Circle provides analysis of financial advisory practices and rankings of advisers. It has partnered for the past five years with Barron’s on a conference business that produced the Investment Consultants Summit, Top Advisors Summit and Top Women Advisors Summit.

Additionally, Barron’s has published the Winner’s Circle rankings of Top 100 Financial Advisers, Top 100 Women Financial Advisers and Top 100 Independent Advisers.

“The acquisition of the Winner’s Circle Organization further strengthens Barron’s leadership position as a producer of premium conferences for the financial industry,” Edwin Finn, editor and president of Barron’s, said in a statement.
