Bayer CropScience inserts ‘video-in-print’ ad in ‘Successful Farming’

Des Moines, Iowa—Meredith Corp.’s Successful Farming announced it has included a video-in-print advertisement for Bayer CropScience’s Votivo pesticide in the magazine’s August issue.

Video-in-print is a technology developed by Americhip that enables an insert containing a video screen to be placed into a publication. The Votivo video-in-print ad, which features five videos, was inserted in 17,000 targeted issues of Successful Farming. “The video insert format allows us to engage, entertain and educate the audience in a manner that is as innovative as the product itself,” Robert Landa, VP-executive creative director at Rhea+Kaiser, Naperville, Ill., Bayer CropScience’s agency, said in a statement.
