BBDO wins Grand CEBA Award for GE campaign

New York—BBDO Worldwide won the Grand CEBA Award for its GE “Global Ecomagination” campaign at American Business Media’s 13th annual Creative Excellence in Business Advertising Awards presentation Oct. 1.

BBDO also won a CEBA award for “Global Ecomagination” in the integrated media promotion campaign category, for a campaign that appeared in BusinessWeek.

For single ad, one page or less, with an annual media budget greater than $100,000, the winner was Fergus/Peters, for its “World’s Biggest Vegetarians” ad created for PotashCorp.

Ogilvy Worldwide was the winner for digital online advertising, for a campaign it created for IBM Corp. called “Stop Talking, Start Doing.” Msnbc.com launches self-service ad program Redmond, Wash.—Msnbc.com introduced a new self-service online ad program aimed at small and midsize businesses.

The program is powered by AdReady and delivers an on-demand banner ad solution that allows marketers to build and run campaigns on msnbc.com. Using the system, businesses can create customized ads from a library of templates, measure the performance of their campaigns and continuously test and optimize the performance of their ads.
