BEA enters campaign management fray

San Jose--Leading Web infrastructure company BEA Systems Inc. will announce at its BEA eWorld user conference, scheduled Feb. 25-28, a new campaign management software product. The as-yet-unnamed application will allow marketing professionals to manage online marketing campaigns without relying on technical staffers to run the program, BEA said. BEA is the latest major entrant into Internet-based customer relationship management software. Such companies as E.piphany Inc. and Xchange Inc. are already waging war for eCRM market share. Pricing was not disclosed.
