Bear, Stearns names institutional marketing chief

New York--Bear, Stearns & Co. has named Jeffrey Brown senior managing director and chief of institutional marketing. Mr. Brown previously headed up Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co.'s institutional marketing efforts. He will oversee Bear, Stearns' international and domestic institutional marketing efforts, including client Internet access initiatives.
