Berkshire introduces ad-tracking service

Published on .

Lenox, Mass.--A new Internet traffic measurement service called Print2Web Tracking was launched Friday with the primary purpose of measuring the efficacy of advertising, marketing and promotion campaigns across multiple forms of media. Run by Lenox, Mass.-based Berkshire Information Systems Inc., the service is the latest in a string of new measurement services to debut of late, including Jupiter Media Metrix, AdRelevance 2.0, comScore and Word of Net. Print2Web Tracking will monitor the effectiveness of business promotional campaigns, such as corporate giveaways and sponsorships, in driving Web purchases, said Berkshire President Andrew Chmura.
