BigStar sells b-to-b direct marketing unit Advaya

New York--BigStar Entertainment Inc. has sold its b-to-b direct marketing unit, Advaya Inc., to Expression Engines Inc., a New York-based interactive marketing agency. The acquisition gives Expression Engines a more expansive platform of direct marketing Internet technologies to complement its consulting business. BigStar, a consumer-oriented Internet marketer, launched Advaya, its first b-to-b unit, last April. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
