Billboard editor in chief leaving

New York—Billboard, a VNU Business Media publication, said Editor in Chief Keith Girard is leaving.

A search for a new editor in chief is under way. In the meantime, the magazine will be led by executive editor Ken Schlager, senior editor Marc Schiffman and Los Angeles bureau chief Melinda Newman.

“We thank Keith for his work for the magazine and wish him well on his new ventures,” John Kilcullen, Billboard's president-publisher, said in a statement.
