Year-to-date, ad pages in b-to-b publications were down 2.65% from last year, and ad revenue was down 1.61%.
The hardest-hit category in February was aviation, aerospace and military, with ad revenue down 17.6%. The computing, software and telecommunications industry also continued to struggle, with ad revenue down 15.8%.
The strongest industries in February for ad revenue were travel, business, conventions and meetings (up 18.5%); building, engineering and construction (up 10.4%); and movies, radio and TV (up 7.8%).
