Bloomberg forms Bloomberg Media Group

New York—Bloomberg announced the formation of the Bloomberg Media Group. The unit brings together the company's television, print, radio, mobile and digital properties.

With the new structure, Bloomberg has streamlined its capability to offer integrated marketing opportunities featuring such products as Bloomberg Businessweek, Bloomberg Markets, Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio, Bloomberg.com and Bloomberg Mobile.

Andy Lack is Bloomberg Media Group's CEO. He had been CEO of Bloomberg's multimedia group, which included interactive, mobile radio and TV. Paul Bascobert was named head of business operations for the group. He will retain his title as president of Bloomberg Businessweek.
