New York—Bloomberg Media's Licensing and Distribution unit announced it will produce digital video clips for the billboard-size outdoor video screens in the Branded Cities Network.
Branded Cities Network has video screens at such locations as New York's Times Square and in cities including Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Phoenix. The network also includes six Canadian cities through a joint venture with Clear Channel Outdoor.
Under the agreement, Bloomberg plans to work with marketers to sponsor Bloomberg content on the BCN network.
“There is no better canvas to showcase the strength of Bloomberg Media's original-production capabilities than these screens in the center of cities,” said Paul Bascobert, chief operating officer of Bloomberg Media, in a statement.
