Chicago—The Business Marketing Association announced a strategic alliance with the Forum: Business Results Through People, a not-for-profit research organization affiliated with the Medill Integrated Marketing Communications graduate program at Northwestern University.
Under the partnership, the BMA and the Forum will conduct research projects designed to provide educational resources and thought leadership content to b-to-b marketers.
In conjunction with the partnership, the BMA has formed a research committee, which will be led by Michelle Smith, VP-business development at O.C. Tanner Co., an employee recognition organization, and Rick Blabolil, president of Marketing Innovators, an employee incentive company.
Smith and Blabolil are Forum trustees and have been named to the board of the BMA.
“Developing a research committee in collaboration with the Forum team and their proven content strategy platform ensures that the BMA will continue to provide the resources that will help b-to-b marketers grow in their chosen industry while helping them keep ahead of the constantly changing b-to-b environment,” said Kathy Button Bell, CMO at Emerson Electric Co. and chairman of the BMA, in a statement.
