BMA announces plans for 2010 annual conference

Chicago—The Business Marketing Association announced it will hold its 2010 annual conference June 2–4 in Chicago, with the theme “Engage.”

The conference will be held at the Swissotel here and will feature such speakers as author David Meerman Scott and social media expert Chris Brogan.

“[This year’s] ‘Unlearn’ conference riveted our attention during a deep recessionary period on newer, faster, better ways to get the job done,” said Gary Slack, chairman of the BMA and chairman-chief experience officer of Slack Barshinger, Chicago. “The ‘Engage’ conference will show how companies are deploying primarily digital strategies and tactics to reinvigorate brands and get sales, profits and market share growing again.”
