BNET.com debuts BNET Industries

San Francisco—BNET, a part of CNET Networks, Tuesday announced the introduction of BNET Industries (http://industry.bnet.com), a source for news and analysis on 11 industries.

The site covers: advertising; automotive; energy; food; financial services; health care; media; pharmaceutical; retail; technology; and travel. More industries are to be added later.

BNET Industries’ features include Business Sector Information, which focuses on industry news and trends, and Individual U.S. Company Pages, featuring business data and syndicated stories about company operations, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and product launches, among other topics.

BNET Industries has information on more than 9,000 public companies.

Also Tuesday, BNET announced its expansion into Australia (http://www.bnetau.com.au) and the U.K. (http://www.bnet.co.u ). Both sites feature BNET original content and articles written by local writers.
