BPA forms interactive advisory committee

Shelton, Conn.—BPA Worldwide, along with strategic partner I/PRO Corp., on Tuesday announced it has formed an Interactive Advisory Committee.

The new committee will be comprised of ad agency executives, marketers and Web site owners. It will advise BPA on issues related to site traffic measurement and verification and review and make recommendations on auditing requirements, procedures and data reporting formats.

BPA said the committee would also advocate industry adoption of accurate traffic data.

Among the 17 founding members of the committee are: Jack Smith, VP-marketing, 24/7 Real Media; John Lerner, VP-general manager, VNU eMedia; Stacy Malone, media director, McCann Erickson-A&L; Michael Paradiso, worldwide media director, Computer Associates; and Chris Whalen, senior director of client services, B2Bworks.
