Branigan to become Landor chairman-CEO

San Francisco--Branding consultancy Landor Associates, a division of WPP’s Young & Rubicam Inc., announced that President-COO Craig Branigan will become CEO May 1 and add the title of chairman on Dec. 31. He will succeed retiring Chairman-CEO Clay Timon. “This is an exciting day for Landor as we execute a plan that has been carefully anticipated since Craig was hired in 1996,” Timon said in a statement. Landor’s clients include such b-to-b marketers as Accenture, FedEx, Hewlett-Packard Co. and Microsoft Corp.
