Brentwood, Sequoia, others invest $10M in BioSpace.com

San Francisco--Brentwood Venture Capital, Sequoia Capital and several other VC businesses have announced a $10 million investment in BioSpace.com, a portal and exchange aimed at the life sciences industry. San Francisco-based BioSpace.com, which went live in 1995, has racked up an average of 2.2 million page views per month from 600,000 unique visitors, making it the top site for its industry. Other participating VCs include Lombard Investments Inc. and Sanderling Ventures.
