British Airways also launched a small-business program, Venture Club, marketing it through a stand-alone site. The site allows users to do all their business with the airline online, from booking reservations to checking travel reports. Venture Club's features include allowing points earned during travel to be redeemed for fax machines and phones.

British Airways is Web-enabling much of the program because its research indicates the Internet is its small-business flyers' preferred means of contact, Epstein said.
