BroadVision aligns with Intel

Redwood City, Calif.--BroadVision Inc., one of the Web's hottest homegrown companies, said late Thursday it has entered into an e-business alliance with Intel Corp. The deal calls for BroadVision to jointly develop and market software programs that manage Web sites and corporate Web workflow. The two companies are contributing sales, marketing and engineering personnel to the alliance. The move means BroadVision, which provides Web site sales and content management architecture for big companies, is seeking ways to deliver a lower-priced solution for smaller companies.
