BroadVision Inc going great guns

Published on .

Redwood City, Calif.--Internet software developer BroadVision Inc. said late Wednesday that its third quarter revenue increased 303% to $120.2 million, up from $29.8 million a year earlier. Net income climbed 202% to $13.6 million, versus $4.5 million a year earlier. According to BroadVision President-CEO Pehong Chen, the results demonstrate the demand for personalized e-business products. The company will focus future efforts on developing additional b-to-b products tailored to specific vertical markets and worldwide distribution channels, he said. A total of 142 companies were first-time buyers of its software between July and September, pushing BroadVision's client base to 1,062.
