BroadVision wins Ptplace.com

Redwood City, Calif.--BroadVision Inc. said Tuesday that it has sold its Internet portal management software to Ptplace.com, which sells industrial components to manufacturing companies. The site was created by a consortium of companies, including INA Holding Schaeffler KG, Rockwell Automation, SKF Group and The Timken Co. Ptplace.com was able to post more than 190,000 products in the first 90 days of development and currently grosses sales of more than $2 million per week.
