Browning named 2009 chairman of DMA

Published on .

Las Vegas—Kelly Browning, exec VP-COO of the American Institute for Cancer Research and CFO of the World Cancer Research Fund, has been named chairman of the Direct Marketing Association. The DMA announced the appointment Sunday at its annual conference and exhibition in Las Vegas.

In addition, the following were elected to DMA board posts: Eugene Raitt, exec VP-CMO of AIG, was named vice chairman; David Williams, president-CEO of Merkle, was appointed treasurer; and Christine Aguilera, president of SkyMall, was named secretary.

This isn’t the first DMA honor for Browning. Earlier this year he was selected as the 2008 recipient of the association’s Max L. Hart Nonprofit Achievement Award, recognizing him for outstanding achievement within the nonprofit community.
