Chicago—BtoB and sibling publication Advertising Age are partnering to produce a new event, Marketing+Technology: The Rise of CMO-CIO Alignment, on May 20 during Internet Week in New York. Both publications are owned by Crain Communications Inc.
The event, which will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Metropolitan Pavilion, will focus on marketing technology and how successful CMO-CIO pairs are working together to build more efficient organizations.
The keynote speaker is Eduardo Conrado, senior VP-marketing and technology at Motorola Solutions, who will discuss the rise of marketing technology at Motorola.
Other speakers include: Matthew Jachius, CMO at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., and Michael Keller, CIO at Nationwide, who will talk about how they work together; Bob Lord, CEO of Razorfish, and Ray Valez, CTO at Razorfish, who will discuss marketing technology from an agency perspective; Eric Pearson, CIO and former CMO at InterContinental Hotels Group; and Sheryl Pattek, VP-principal analyst, Forrester Research.
Internet Week celebrates Internet business and culture. It was launched in 2008 by the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. The festival, which will feature more than 250 events throughout the city, is expected to attract more than 45,000 Internet professionals.
