The data include estimated b-to-b spending on business magazines, consumer magazines, newspapers, TV, radio, online and outdoor.
Leading the ’06 list of top spenders were telecom companies with AT&T topping the list, spending an estimated $419.4 million on b-to-b advertising during the year (up 10.4% from the previous year). Verizon Communications was the No. 2 spender, spending an estimated $405.9 million on b-to-b advertising last year. And, Sprint-Nextel, 2005’s biggest spender, dropped to the No. 3 advertiser, spending $277.1 million on b-to-b advertising.
All b-to-b ad spending totaled $14.39 billion last year, up 1.4% from $14.19 billion in 2005.
