New York—BtoB will present Digital Edge: A Virtual Trade Show for Marketers on Thursday, Dec. 5. The event, which showcases online marketing strategies and best practices for b-to-b marketers, will feature a full schedule of educational sessions and a digital expo hall of vendors. The event is completely online, with exposition exhibitors and their booths featured on a "virtual" show floor. Marketing consultant and social evangelist Gary Vaynerchuk will give the opening video keynote, titled "Jab, Jab, Right Hook: How to Tell Your Story in a Noisy World." Using a theme based on his book by the same name (published by HarperBusiness, 2013), Vaynerchuk will stress the need to "give first, ask later" on social media as a means of gaining prospects' attention.
A closing keynote will feature Michael Brenner, VP-marketing and content strategy at SAP. Brenner will detail trends and 2014 predictions in content marketing. The event will include a full schedule of webinar sessions focusing on lead nurturing, content marketing and marketing automation trends and best practices, among other topics. Between sessions attendees can "visit" virtual booths, ask questions and download materials from exhibitors. Virtual educational sessions are interactive, with presentations and questions and answers in real time. Registration to BtoB's Digital Edge is free. The virtual show floor opens at 11:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 5, with Vaynerchuk's opening keynote slated for noon.
