fourth annual Digital Edge: A Virtual Tradeshow for Marketers, showcasing online marketing strategies and best practices for b-to-b marketers, is set for Thursday. It will showcase educational sessions and a digital expo hall of b-to-b marketing vendors.
Digital Edge, completely online, will feature an opening video keynote by Jay Baer, president of Convince & Convert and one of today's most followed bloggers on best practices in digital marketing. Baer's keynote, “ "Youtility': How Smart Companies Sell More by Selling Less,” will detail how to provide “massively useful information, not promotion.”
A closing keynote will feature Mark Yolton, senior VP-digital and communities at software company SAP. His presentation, “Social Business at SAP: Turning Social Media Into Business,” will detail how SAP is connecting with customers using integrated and scalable approaches across social media, online communities, events and corporate websites to transform traditional marketing.
Between the two keynotes will be a schedule
of webinar sessions focusing on marketing automation, online marketing strategies, storytelling techniques for better content marketing, prioritizing for 2013 and email marketing best practices.
Sessions attendees can visit virtual booths, ask questions and download materials from exhibitors. Virtual educational sessions are totally interactive, with presentations and questions and answers in real time.
Digital Edge is free. The virtual show floor opens at 11:30 a.m. ET on Dec. 6, with Baer's opening keynote slated for noon.
