Agency: Tminus1 Creative, Exton, Pa. Campaign: Planet Agilent Launch date: July 2011 Creative credits: At Col Voce: marketing strategist: Diane Rodwell; At Dakota Diesel: interactive: Steve Klein; At Tminus1 Creative: creative director: Terry Scullin; account director: Meg Dolan; copywriter: Gina Signorella-Arlen; At Agilent Technologies: marketing: Kathy Mills, Christine Cox, Beth Eurotas Why we liked it: Agilent Technologies' microsite does exactly what a microsite should: It offers extensive information in a straightforward and easy-to-navigate way. Visitors can explore the well- designed site by choosing one of two interactive landscapes—a farm scene that explains the company's food-testing applications or a city scene that addresses its environmental applications. They can then access information by mousing over different parts of the animated scenes and clicking for more information. Clicking on the tractor, for example, leads the user to various types of information on soil analysis—from literature and videos to webinars and calculators. It has an appealing look and feel, and offers visitors a lot of content to explore. Plus, when users are ready for the next step, it's clear how to request a quote or contact a sales rep.
