Burson-Marsteller launches consulting practice

Miami--Burson-Marsteller, Young & Rubicam Inc.'s public relations subsidiary, said late Wednesday that it has launched a management consulting practice aimed at helping companies grow via the Internet. Dubbed FastForward, and headquartered in Burson-Marsteller's Miami office, the unit is the latest example of a public relations firm stretching beyond its media roots. In August, Niehaus Ryan Wong, South San Francisco, launched NRW Business Intelligence Bureau. Thursday, the Danna Group Inc., Huntington Beach, Calif., launched a consulting arm. FastForward comes to market with Advertium, Viamericas and AmericasXchange on its client roster.
