Burst launches direct marketing network

Burlington, Mass.—Burst Media, an online ad network, announced Monday it has formed a new division and launched a direct response marketing ad network called Burst Direct. Burst said the new network will give direct response advertisers the ability to reach large audiences at cost-effective rates. Burst Direct will serve more than 1 billion monthly ad impressions across 700-plus online publishers, the company said. The new division will be led by VP Andi Schneiter and will be based in Latham, N.Y.
