Washington, D.C.—The White House on Monday said President Bush intends to nominate Mike Wood, co-founder of Hanley Wood, to be ambassador to Sweden. Wood is currently chairman of Redwood Investments, which he created in 2005. He left Hanley Wood last year after an investment group led by JP Morgan Partners purchased the construction media company from Veronis Suhler Stevenson for $650 million. Wood and Mike Hanley founded Hanley Wood in 1976.
