Business magazines show healthy ad page gains

New York—Six business-oriented magazines tracked by the Publishers Information Bureau posted ad page gains from January through November this year, compared with the same period in 2003. Forbes gained 14.5%, Fortune 12.3%, Barron’s 9.0%, The Economist 4.0%, BusinessWeek 2.2% and PC Magazine 1.3%. Consumer magazine ad pages registered a 3.1% gain year to date.
