Business publisher goes 24/7 route

Published on .

Farmingdale, N.J.--JagNotes.com, a financial services Internet publication, said Friday that it has signed an exclusive publisher's agreement with ad-serving company 24/7 Media, New York. The move means 24/7 will sell advertising inventory on JagNotes.com's sites, which include the daily JagNotes newsletter of aggregated data from Wall Street brokerage firms. The move comes as competition among 24/7 Media, DoubleClick, B2B Works and others for niche publishing sites heats up. Publishers of information of interest to people working in vertical industries top the hit lists of most ad-server networks. JagNotes, Farmingdale, N.J., said 24/7 won its representation because it will be able to deliver advertisements that feature video and audio. The publisher is launching a broadcast network, and will need to sell and deliver multimedia advertising in order to make its strategy work.
