LaPointe rejoined Inc. as president in 2009. He had previously worked for the brand from 1979 to 2001 in a variety of management roles before leaving to found Trendline, a company that helped Fortune 500 companies market to small businesses. Inc.'s print ad revenue increased 3.8% in the first half of this year compared with the same period in 2010, according to PIB figures.
