Larsen joined Dow Jones in 1999 after working for the Communications, Media and Technology practice of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He was named president of Dow Jones last year. He is one of the architects of The Wall Street Journal's much envied strategy of charging for online content, and aggressively adapting Dow Jones content for smartphones and tablets.
