Business supply sites strong, Diameter says

New York--Officemax.com and Officedepot.com had the greatest increase in dollars spent per visitor between March and April, according to a report released Tuesday by Diameter. A venture between DoubleClick Inc., New York, and comScore Networks Inc., Reston, Va., Diameter measures buying power, which it defines as total dollars spent online by the average member of a site's audience, indexed to the total online dollars spent by the average Internet user. Travel was the strongest category as seven sites, including Southwest.com, Hoteldiscounts.com and Hertz.com placed in a list of 20 top revenue gatherers.
