‘BusinessWeek’ names Fischer VP-communications & global brand development

New York—BusinessWeek on Monday named Carl Fischer IV to the newly created position of VP-communications and global brand development. Fischer is responsible for the strategy and direction of all communications and public relations efforts for the BusinessWeek franchise, including BusinessWeek, BusinessWeek.com and the brand’s mobile, video and TV offerings. Fischer joined BusinessWeek from strategic communications company Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, where he was a senior VP.
