New York--In yet another sign of the turmoil facing Internet-related magazines, eCommerce Business has been shut down by Cahners Business Information less than a year after launching. The biweekly, which targeted senior executives across all industries, was introduced in April 2000 with a controlled circulation of 100,000. The title will now run as a supplement in eight of Cahners' supply-chain magazines. About 12 people worked for eCommerce Business in editorial and sales. The plan is to absorb the jobs throughout the rest of the company, which has a large stable of magazines and is owned by Reed Elsevier plc.
