Published on .

New York--Cahners Business Information made a flurry of announcements on Monday. First, the company named George Hundley, formerly Cahners' VP-strategy and development, as exec VP of its travel group. Mr. Hundley replaces Kevin Condon, who is now CEO of Proximus Information, a business-to-business traditional and online publishing startup with $100 million in equity financing. Second, Cahners further boosted its online presence by announcing the launch of Food Master Ingredients, a Web site for research and development professionals in the food industry. And, finally, the company announced a licensing agreement to provide the full text of Cahners electronics group publications on ScienceDirect, which, like Cahners, is a member of the Reed Elsevier plc group. ScienceDirect has an electronic database of scientific, technical and medical research.
