Cahners shuffles executives

Published on .

Newton, Mass. -- In the wake of disappointing ad page revenue that caused its parent company, Reed Elsevier plc, to issue an earnings warning earlier this month, Cahners Business Information, Newton, Mass., has reassigned an unspecified number of executives, it was announced Tuesday. "Cahners is making some organizational changes," said Margaret Pantridge, director of corporate communications. "The purpose is to improve the coverage, coordination, efficiency and quality of our magazine operations. This is the kind of thing all companies do in the normal course of business." The changes involved no executive job cuts, Ms. Pantridge said.
